Hi there, thanks for taking a peek at my work

I'm Charlotte, a York based figurative painter, mummy and physiotherapist. My fascination with the human body and colour has led me to create two very different collections;

Firstly, by combining all these parts of myself to produce bold colourful semi abstract paintings which capture the fleeting moments of childhood.
For me, most of the hundreds of photographs on my phone never see the light of day. My paintings are a way I can freeze treasured moments, from the brief pauses of calm and concentration, to those of play and pure joy. Even those stages you feel will never end at the time but are over before you know it.
I work in acrylic paint on canvas using excellent quality lightfast paint, producing paintings ranging from small to really very large!
Paintings are available on commission and in Giclee print on fine art paper.

The second part of my collection is a more experimental style, producing emotionally charged figurative paintings in cold wax and oil. These pieces are created with the highest quality oil paint and medium, and are available in Giclee print on fine art paper in a variety of sizes on request.
